The aim of the conference is to better equip pastors and those in teaching ministries to preach and teach the Bible more faithfully and effectively.

The focus of the teaching will be discourses of John's Gospel, with the theme being John 7:46, "No one ever spoke like this man." Our approach will be to discern John's purpose in the discourses and great "I AM" statements, to ensure that our hearers sense the uniqueness and power of Jesus' unforgettable words.

Steve Bickley has served on the pastoral team of Parkside Church near Cleveland since 2001. He has been a pastor for 30 years and once assisted Rev. Dick Lucas as conference administrator of the Proclamation Trust in London, England.
